To raise charitable funds to help disadvantaged, disabled or underprivileged individuals to participate in sport.

Phil Bennett OBE was quite simply one of a kind. A rugby icon who captained the Scarlets, Wales, the British Lions and Barbarians, he was one of the greatest players of a generation.

He was however so much more than that and it was perhaps his greatness as a human being that saw him transcend sport. Humble, kind and selfless, he was a genius on the pitch and a true gentleman off it.

Following his passing in 2022, the idea of the Phil Bennett Foundat10n was launched to honour the incredible legacy Phil left behind.

Born and raised in Felinfoel, Phil came from modest beginnings but went on to become a sporting superstar. It is no coincidence that the purpose of the Phil Bennett Foundat10n is to raise money to help disadvantaged, disabled or underprivileged individuals to participate in sport - something that was very close to Phil's heart.

In doing so, Phil's remarkable generosity, his unwavering desire to

help others and his love of all sports will live on through the Foundation.

A fitting tribute to a once in a lifetime player,

and a once in a lifetime person.
